Movie bein' uploaded

So yeah, I got some clips the other day, didn't quite know what music people want to hear, so i just picked out 3 totally different genres.

Most of the clips are crap, i played like crap, mainly because i didn't really follow some of my own rules for arena.

what rules, you ask? Well some pointers, and these are for gaming in general. You could almost say that they could help you anywhere in life:

1: Inspiration

You do not want to queue for arena and not wanting to do arena. Generally i usually watch either of the Hoodrych movies to get my head in the game, or you could say, for inspiration. Find something that makes you want to queue for arena, some warming up with BGs could work, some skirmishes, something like that.

2: SocialSkilz

Now, the best teams are not the ones with 3 people enjoying nothing but their own company, ow but no. Sometimes the "elite dawgs" can seem like silent fothermuckers, but when these condescending people find eachother and their minds work at a level where they enjoy eachothers tones and social challenges that's when.. uhm.. the magic happens. Find people you enjoy playing with, not only will arena be more fun, but it will also become easier as you will most likely report shit to eachother!

3: lumber up!

Being in good shape is a good thing. I'm gulty for going against this (and I should be more like Ninq, who already looks bloody amazing, but yeah, I could have done a better job doing the body-temple thing). What i'm trying to say is that you will want to have energy! Get decent amount of sleep, lumber up a bit, maybe. Make sure your blood flow is good, and have some energy, as stated. This does not mean "DRINK COCACOLA OR RED BULL AND GET WINGS". Those are basically energy bumps, you will have some energy for a while but you will get fucked up after a while and most probably nerd rage quite a bit during the energy rush. I usually pop a gerimax pill or two, get few litres of water or ice tea and eat some.

4: Focus, focus, focus!

I usually have some motoric music playing whenever I work, draw, write or play. Something to keep my concentration. Usually it's good with something thats soft, but not so soothing and relaxing that your energy levels drop, but not so hard that it drains you. Few artists i like listening to during arena are Morgan Page, some deadmau5, tech n9ne, Andy Moor and B-complex.

5: Communication

as stated you want good communication. Voicecoms are usually a very big +, especially in 3 versus 3 or 5 versus 5, since there are usually so much going on that you want to get reports in and out. I have been using ventrilo a lot, but ever since I've been playing in my new team we've been using skype. BAsically it lags less (and i can hand on heart say that it can often be up to a whole second difference). I thought i enjoyed push to talk, but I tend to let go of my PTT button too early, and the voice activation on ventrilo is not exactly top notch. However the voice activation on skype is a dream.

These few pointers will not help you faceroll 2600 rating with ease, and i could go on forever about CC, CD and focus handling, positioning and comp building. but these tips can however help you build faster as a player and as a team! There's shitloads of other shit that will maybe give more insight on how to win, these are more to make the game more enjoyable and build faster.

the 3v3 movie should be out in an hour or two, will link it here then :)
