Like a Brox

I haven't blogged in a while, and all my blogs so far have mainly been about gaming, so going to try to give a bit more perspective of RL of a self loathing, loath loving, hate eating douche.

Well, my mom told me the other day that i drink too much.... to keep leaching money of her. She told me that if I'm going to keep drinking like this i got to get a job.. whateff... morrakn... anyways, yeah, my whole easter vacation went away to either being high, or being drunk outtamamind.

I tried drunk dialing my whole telephone list, and ended up talking to...gamers.. yeah, i dialed Ustadbil, who i discussed tactics with while he was laughing his ass off at me. I told him i got the perfect combo, immolate charge... then i told him 5 secs later that my warlock didnt have a charge ability, so he cud scratch that. The next day i drunk+high (crossfading FTW) dialed another friend of mine, PirateJudge, who i play pala/warr/mage with. I told him we should start doing timed bursts, and then i calculated for him that we could burst for 40k.. i tried doing the same calculations the other day and ended at roughly 26k burst haha. Drunk calculations are awesome..

So, this girl I know, good friend of mine, tries to make me stop being so self-loathing and motionless, she tries to get me out of my self inflicted state of sociopathy. She is close to succeeding. We fought. Yeah, i didn't know wether I should of thrown up or raged all over the place when i got home. Was fking strange as I'm not that used to letting emotions either in or out. The next day (today actually, well, b4 12 o'clock, that day.. so yesterday.. uhm WHATEVER U GET THE POINTS) I decided to take a new approach to things, for her. After so long experience of just shoving shit down, never really caring, just having total apathy for everyone else around me I tried to take things head on and i told her we had to talk, so basically we are friends again and she started teaching me how to play guitar.

I'm out of gametime, and there are no series releasing new episodes, which makes me use my time on absolutely nothing.. Well i draw some, some of my drawings when I'm high are quite awesome, the way I tend to consciously break the normal way of looking at things is just awesome. Made some sketches while sober (can you use that to describe "not high"?) as well. They can b awesome if I care enough, but they tend to become too technical at times which can b daft in some cases, good in some.

ow about some of my plans, I need to get my shit together and make "The Big Brox Theory" soon, really been just hovering that idea around in my head without really doing anything about it. Also should get some clips up of warr/pala/mage (2000-2200) and warr/pala/warlock (I'm predicting this team could be good for atleast 2,4k, maybe even 2,6k pushable rating)

Anyways, tomorrow I've got a huge "new-norwegian" (wtf?) test, and I'm going to some big crazy party(at a thursday WHATAFAK, incoming shitty friday haha), so i need atleast some rest. GUDNITEFOLKZ

Now a lot of people might think theorycrafting is boring, it's hard, it's annoying to have to look up all the theories all the time, or even they don't have the mathematical skills to actually do it. I, on the other hand, love it.

Every now and then people pop questions in guild chat:

-"what wep shud i have my zerker chant on",

-"which chest is better?"

-"why can't i break 1500 rating?"

-"why does the radius on this boss seem so huge, whats the use?"

-"why do my female characters have underwear that can't be taken off?"

-"which tier looks the best?"

And most of the time I'm one of those who comes with answers to those. I often even do the maths on the spot. So after answering a question today about berserker enchant and titanium weapon chain MH/OH question I got the idea: I can start a show. A show about theorycrafting, a show about strategies, with questions I give answers to..

It would star me, and then I mean the irl version of me. (The one with the awesome hair, and the not so awesome waist) probably Kdawgz, and sometimes quests. It would be on youtube, and I would probably have to get a new movie editing program.

I would need a name for the show, and I was thinking something like "Brox' little corner of theories" or "The Theory corner with Brox", and I'm kind of stuck on that one..

just heard the new Pendulum song watercolor, and it is god damn AWESOME! I mean, I had my hopes high for pendulum I thought it was going to be hard for them to keep on satisfying me with eargasms, but they did it.. they did. jesus crist, its on repeat on my itunes atm.

ow and to not make this too much about one song, heres a little piece i did at school while I had a terrible headache:

well, here are some 2v2 clips with K, we are sitting at around 2400 matchmaking rating. again crappy quality (fking compressing and limits on sites and shit). Again, if you're after one of the songs just post a comment asking for it. Mainly rap music. I know I know, some of you might not be too fond of rap (and i blame the overground mainstream scene for that) Next one is probably going to consist of either more DNB or more rock. No intro this time, though. even though K wanted a shiny one he's barely ever online :/

I love 2v2, and think it's a shame that they just bent it over and used their big 2 handed nerf mace in its ass. But it's still a fun bracket, and one can in fact flash some e-peen through it.

I got to use my big shiny new 2handed axe in it. And as I say everytime one of those PVE guildies of mine asks for a link; lickit, rubit, kissit, tugit. :> It really improved my damage done and pressure, to be honest. It almost.. almost gets out of hand.. :p

Not that WoW is supposedly "hard" or whatever, and you may argue on skill dependancy in WoW compared to other games. But this weekend Kdawgz and I started doing some casual 2v2s again as warrior/paladin. We are already at 2400 MMR, even though there's a whole season since we played together last (Well almost), and last time we were sitting at 2600+ rating. After playing with randoms, boosting RL friends, etc.

So we started out, and we actually did quite well. I recently picked up my tier 2 wrathful axe and we won 4 times in a row before i accounced that I'm doing arena in guild chat asking if people would bet how high winstreak i would reach. We went 10-0 easily, and he went to play battlefield after we reached 14-0.

I'm determined that we can reach 2000 rating with a 100% winstreak! And I hope K and I can reach 100-0. I started filming, so got a few clips. K just want some fancy intro made for him before I post some more casual matches. Hoping to put the intro together today and get it up by tomorrow.

In real life not much has happened lately. Was at a friends place this saturday, but was just chilling out. All in all quite kind of dry.

OW and it's the womens day today or whatever (dunno if that stuff is international? Atleast march 8th is always the womens day in norway) so gratz 2 all women of the world. (Even though just having the day is kind of sexist, even though not intended that way..)

Some wanders off to town, hanging around in the city. Others wait for their parents to go, either if they wait at hoome or they wait outside til parents leave... I just walk right in. I have a door on my room leaving right out to the streets. :D

so few important steps:

1: hide your traces: you don't want your shoes to be spotted!

2: bottle: yeah.. or jar, and regular bottles wont do you any good, you want one with wider opening than regular ones..(the fact that you already know what I'm on about makes you as guilty as me in this)

3: silence!: this can be problematic when you're watching THE NEW OFFICE EPISODE!

4: Proviants... and i forgot this one.. hungry for 4 more hours, oh noes!

anyways, today it is FINALLY a new Mentalist episode! Been waiting for it for so long! With new Community and a new The Office aswell as a Secret Diary of a call girl episode this seems like it could go on to be a good friday :D

Yeah, I can come off as quite strong, independant and selfsentred. narzisistic, evil, you name it. The strange thing about being a selfhating person who at the same time feeds on hate is that it gives off a strong personality which attracts other people. especially the other ones with the same mindset. It also can tend to give people who have lived on the brighter side of the city, who always have had everything around them perfect and never really had too much going against them the feeling that they have to stay away from you and allienate you. My raid leader is one of those persons.

So obviously the dynamic between me and him is sort of like the dynamic between me and my wall. Short answers, trying not to get personal at all, etc.

And his social skills? And i'm not talking about being able to connect to people, i'm talking about how the human mind works. We are not allowed to talk in raids, not allowed to do anything that can be considered fun, not even in breaks. It appearently fucks up our "focus". bullcrap. I asked a friend once how he can stand raiding for 4 hours. his answer was that they had so much fun during raids, sharing drunk stories and such. We did that once.. our raid leader went mad at us.... ow and we did it during a 10 min break.

The reason school classes are 45 minutes long is because that is how long the human mind is supposed to stay focused on one matter. However, when you sit in a raid for 3-4 hours not being able to connect with anyone you tend to just think of everything as dots and pixels. In my experience this is a bad thing, because it tends to make you have a sociopathic relationship with these people, making you go ego. If you just care about yourself you don't really adapt to others, when you don't adapt to others and learn how these people play you don't really play together, and this can result in wipes.

simple example: warrior is sheeped, paladin is being focused, and is on about 60-70% if the paladin lets the warrior sit out the full sheep and only think about himself he most probably will be locked out and dropped. if he dispells the warrior he can charge, fear, intercept, disarm, interupt et cetera to keep the damage away from the paladin. playing together is key. playing only one owns part is bad, mmkay?

however, the paladin can not know the warrior won't just go and zerg randomly if he gets out, knowing that the warrior will do his part to get back the momentum is part of the knowing eachothers playstyle.

So, i'm compressing my new movie, going to upload it soonish. will probably be out by tomorow. I wont have the ilvl 277 axe in that one. But yeah, got my wrathful tier 2 axe today, 325 DPS HELLOW! next movie is probably featuring that weapon, another paladin and the 2 versus 2 bracket.

So it's a boring sunday so far, and what do I do on boring sundays? I draw. So here are a few sketches i threw up in the last hour, might publish some more soonish.

Well I, for one, played sort of crap in most of these clips. I didn't really follow my own rules for arena (Forgot to eat gerimax, i drank coca cola, i didn't drink water, nor ice tea. Generally this affects my communication skills aswell, bleh)

But yeah, got some pretty decent clips, we met a lot of rogues that night, which is kind of frustrating for me, as most rogue cleaves just tunnel vision me the whole fking match, keeping me on my toes, having to play defensive and look for small openers :/but here it is

will also try to get up a 2v2 movie with Kdawgz before this weekend is over, as that is where i shine the most. (Kills are more relying on my skills as the only DPSer, my focus handling, etc.)
